Nice looking snake. My buddy just got a dark lavender mangrove viper. He's only a baby but VERY aggressive. He attacks the glass when you go near it.

She is super chill right now, but I only just got her today so I'll have to wait til she settles in to see what her true personality is like. I'll try to handle her pretty frequently to keep her docile because I don't want a 7ft aggressive mangrove! Glad to hear you keep them too :)

Nice to see someone else with a Mangrove Snake. How is her temperament? Mine is very aggressive!

She's a '10 produced by Doug Hotle. As far as I know these guys aren't too hard to get started. I've read they sometimes need a little lizard scenting, but this girl is already feeding well on mice. I couldn't say with the breeding. I think the main trick is keeping them from eating eachother, but quite a few people have produced clutches.
