Q: What type of scale should I use?

Hi everyone!  I am going to start a gecko breeding project this coming spring and have several juvenile reptiles whos growth needs to be tracked.  I will probably need a scale that can do tenths of a gram due to the small size of the geckos.  Does anyone have a suggestions for a brand or model of scale that I should use?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

i got mine at a local adult video/tobacco pipe shop. it is marketed as a pocket postage scale, but i think most of us realize they are commonly purchased for other reasons. i have that small one, it's made by AWS. i'm not sure what that stands for but it does 0.1g difference and it's digital. i keep it in its case to keep it from getting damaged. it works great for small stuff like eggs. i paid $30 for it, a little more than i wanted to pay but i needed it.
for snakes and adult geckos, i'd use the real postage scale that i bought at office depot. that one cost about $50, it also has a 0.1 difference, but it goes up to 5 lbs and has a larger surface. it is also digital. the only thing i didn't do was purchase a set of calibration weights. these are usually very solid and set at an exact weight so that you can tell f your scale is STAYING accurate. most scales are calibrated before they leave the manufacturer, but if you don't test them every few months, you could have a crappy scale ruining all your efforts...

Any Kitchen scale from Target, Wal Mart, K-mart, Post Office will work just fine. If you look online you can get them cheaper if your willing to wait.

You can get the digital pocket scales off ebay cheaper than any store.  If you're breeding cresteds and leos then it will be perfect for them.
