What the difference in breeding BCIs(Red-tails) to breeding Acrantophis Madagascariensis(Madagascan ground boa)? Sencdnly is there a differenc in the breeding of a pair of Acrantophis dumerili(Dumeril's ground boa) than a pair of Madagascan ground boas?

Dumerils are a little tougher to breed as far as litter size and live/slug ratio. I am trying a 1.2 pairing this year on another Iherpers advice. I have not bred Madagascar ground boas but I assume they are very similar to dumerils. Red tails are simpler to breed in that you get a larger percentage of live births but it takes more environmental control to get results.  There is a great book that has a lot of good info on breeding etc.  http://www.amazon.com/Reproductive-Husbandry-Pythons-Boas/dp/096314703X

I had a 15:1 live to still born ratio with a couple slugs this year with my dumeril's boas.

I talked to you via PM though Outkast,  so I won't repeat myself on here.
