Alright, so I'm addicted to Morelia. I have 7 chondros, 2 diamonds, 6 carpets, and 1 bredli..
I'm wondering the differences between the husbandry necessary for these critters.
-Chondros like it a bit more humid and are arboreal.
-Diamonds like cooler temps and lower humnidity and brumate during the winter/lower feeding quantity/semi-arboreal
-Carpets are semi-arboreal and prefer similar temps to chondros, but a bit less humidity.
-Bredl's .....? same as carpets? do you need to be brumated during the winter?
thanks for the help.
all I can find through google is bogues info where a guy says Bredl's are from the rainforrest and some other caresheet said something along the lines of "you will need a farely large cage if you want a bredli. As a juvenile, you can just use a small cage. They need a water bowl." you know? something stupid with no detail what-so-ever*.
anyways.. feel free to post pics, throw out some advice, or just comment for the hell of it.
'preciate it.

I read somewhere that feeding a hatchling bredli a pinky mouse or rat is pointless because they have no nutritional value.. and that a hopper mouse is the best route..
thanks.

Bredli's like it hotter than carpets, lower humidity, and yes, call Patrick.

I don't have my bredli any more, but I understood they came from hot and dry central Australia, where they bask on sunny ledges of red rock common to their native land, rough and ragged, they perch and await for prey to pass below. Some people have theorized that the more UVB they get the redder they get, but I tried it and it didn't seem to do anything over 9 months at least. My bredli never required a moist box for a perfect shed, no moisture at all actually. The only time I found her sitting in her dish was when she had mites. Someday, if and when somebody produces a really red hypo line (not yet in this country) I'll get back into them.

Yeah, those hypo bredl's are sexy.
I saw a picture of one last year and I fell in love.
