Well, if you only have the one I don't think "he" would have eggs unless "he" bred before you got him. How long have you had him? Where did you get him?
Look on the internet for a picture of what femoral pores look like on a male Leo. They are pretty easy to see. If "he's" a boy he will have a V-shaped line of femoral pores right above the vent. I find it's best to put them in a clear plastic tub or critter keeper and then look from underneath. Use a flashlight to get a better look if necessary.
Also, while your "down there" you could look at the belly to see if there is anything that looks like eggs. Those can also be easy to see sometimes, but not always obvious if you've not seen them before.

It is normal for your leo to get fat (not obese) if you are feeding it well, its tail especially. The tail is where they store their body's reserves. As long as it isn't bloated or can't move, it sounds ok. If you can, weigh it so there is some way to compare it.

Well, sometimes the femoral pores are small and less obvious when they are young. If you see a really noticeable V shape then he may be a boy. You can keep your eyes on that as he grows and it may become more obvious in a few months.

My boys are boys for sure and they look pregnant too right now because they've been eating so much. Like Johnjohn said, just keep an eye on him/her the next few months and the femoral pores will probably become more prominent, particularly if he's growing out of his baby stripes.
