It's hard to say for sure from the pic, but I'd guess he's a normal, especially if you got him at PetSmart. He looks like he might have an interesting pattern though, so you could consider pairing him with a Jungle. There are lots of cool Jungles out there. They are basically normals, but have unusual pattern.

High yellow normal.
John, i was under the impression that jungles were characterized by a striped tail and the trait is selectively bred.

Jungles are just Leos with irregular banding patterns. They are a selectively bred, or line bred or whatever you would call that.

I'd say a high yellow. Basically, genetically speaking, it's a wild type that's been selectively bred to have a brighter yellow and reduced spot pattern. As far as breeding, normal is a dominant gene, and the high yellow and reduced pattern is a line bred trait. So he could be paired with another high yellow, or put him with something else dominant or co-dominant to hope for a mix of normals and whatever the female is. Please keep in mind everything that I mentioned in my private message though. If you're considering breeding, wait and do your research and save up for all the supplies you'll need to keep and breed these animals responsibly and care for the babies properly before you start pairing up your geckos.
