How long are you waiting in between regurges to offer food?

Try to increase the temps and decrease the size of the prey item.

Agree with Nate - and especially double check your temps. - perhaps bump it up a degree or two. You'll want to wait at least a week+ after a regurge to try and feed again. At 13 grams I would still be going with a small pinky - like a 1 day old one, especially if it's been regurging. I had a cornsnake that took forever to move past a small pinky - everytime I tried a large pinky, she regurged, so I just had to take it real slow for quite awhile, and she's great now. Did you recently bump up to a little larger pinky?

Just to add to the good advice that Nate and Sonja have already given you - make sure that whatever you're using to measure your temps is accurate.  Use either a temp gun or a digital thermometer with a probe.  The stick on and dial thermometers are pretty inaccurate and worthless for getting a good reading on your temps.

I agree with everything said.

Get a temp gun.  It's the best investment you can make for your reptiles.

Ive increased the temps and so far (fingers crossed) it seems to be working.  I am using several temp guages, one is a dial and the other is a digital guage.  I will not bother her for a few days and see if that works.  Thanks everyone!

hey there - a few days may not be long enough. I would go a good 3 weeks after her last re-gurge to feed her again. regurging causes all sorts of acids to be up in their throat that aren't supposed to be there and they don't yak as easily as people. it can take quite some time for the delicate tissues to heal after being fried by the acid. especially if she's regurged several times, give her a good long time to recover.  good luck with her

I agree with Aimee, I'd wait a few weeks before feeding again, and agree with everyone else as well, offer a small meal. Keep doing that for a while until she's keeping everything down and slowly bump her up. Temp guns are a great investment!! Best wishes to you and your gal.

Contrary to what most people think or know, snakes can and will get parasites from f/t animals. My rosy died of this doing exactly what yours is doing. I had no idea that f/t rats could still have worms. If you have access to panacur, I would strongly suggest you dose the snake (0.1-0.2 cc) for three days. At the very least, that way you can guarantee that this is not a culprit for the reason your snake is regurging.

Since your snake is having a regurge problem, I wouldn't dose it with Panacur. You don't know if it's going to keep it down. If you wait a little while and try again, small prey, and your snake STILL won't keep it down, I might suggest taking it to the vet for a check up.
