ok i recently rescued this boa from poor conditions she is so scarred up and on top of that she seems to have an over bite, i did read that atb's get an over bite if dehydrated so im not sure if this is something similar, she is such a sweet boa and very pretty, just curious if this is something to worry about.

If it's possible, I think a good pic of your boas mouth would help me to give you a more informed opinion.

I'm with Sonja on this one, pictures will help a lot.  Other than dehydration, overbites can be caused by birthdefects or poorly healed injuries as well

hmmmmm.....take her to a vet. that could be a deformity she was born with, but it could also be swelling from infection in her mouth and/or sinuses. any snot? any wheezing? any signs of mouthrot (cheezy gunk, yellowish)? I suppose it could also be that while she was growing she had inadequate nutrition. I'd be most worried about infection. hope she does OK!

baytril is bad man. Try to get the vet to give her some cefotaxime. Baytril will rot a whole outta your snake. That's why it's about to get outlawed

Do what your vet advises, just talk to them about any concerns you have!  Your vet should know the hazards of using one medication over another, and should be addressing those issues already.  There is nothing wrong with discussing any concerns with your vet though!!
