What are the optimal temps for JCPs? What's considered too hot? I just got some rheostats and I am running my lamps and UTHs off of it. I have been told that 90 on the hot end and 78 in the cooler end works pretty well. Agree ? disagree?

That sounds good. You might want to check out Anthony Caponetto's carpet python caresheet. He knows his stuff, and laid out an extremely good caresheet on his site. Here is the link:http://www.acreptiles.com/carpet_python_care.htm

78-90 gradient should work out just fine as long as the ambient temperature in the majority of the cage tends towards the low to mid 80s. These are pretty forgiving snakes as captives, they'll be fine with quite a bit of ambient variation. I'm currently keeping an 08 hatchling and a 2 year old in a rack with some of my BRBs, the gradient there is 75-83, they've been doing just fine. If you're setting up your breeding pairs, you want to be a bit more species specific, but day to day care of companion animals do fine with a reasonable range of tropical snake temperatures below 90ish.
Good looking Jungles you've got there.
