Urgent!!! What is the trick to remove glue trap residue?
|
|
Someone brought in a 7in prairie king who had been removed from a glue trap in their garage.
He is covered in the residue and can't move. I remember seeing somewhere on here a trick to removing the glue, but I can't find it.
I'm not going to mess with him untill I have a plan.
He is covered in the stuff and won't live past tomorrow if something isn't done.
Thank you,
Joseph

I hear dousing him in cooking oil will loosen him right up.

Yup, just got done covering him in corn oil(thats all I had) and it worked, he is only missing a couple scales and looks healthy. Also, he is more like 10 in rather than 7.
He will make a full recovery...lucky guy.

THis wasn't in Colorado was it? We don't have prairie kings in the state...
Either way, awesome job fixing him up! That's a lucky snake!
