Scent your rats with mice by putting them in some nice stinky dirty mouse bedding for at least one whole day. Mine never refuse them after this. It took me almost a year to switch my stubborn male but I did it.

Most of them have a hard time switching to rats specifically, I would honestly Feed it rabbits, or switch it to something else, rats tend to have some weird scent and lots of jungles and ijs hate them.

Took me 6 months to get my to males to ear rats. I would feed them a mouse and when they were almost done with the mouse I would "train" a rat right behind it so they just keep sollowing :) the eventually I did the mouse scenting now they take rats with no problem :)

I did the same thing as Dawn (I don't keep jungles anymore though) and it worked great. Never had a problem after that, but I have used scenting for other species and it works great! Best of luck.

Yeah, just rub the rat in some dirty mouse bedding as the first answer mentioned. It works the majority of the time.

Or just give up!  I have a coastal carpet girl that just refuses rats.  I tried everything, and I really mean everything, for years.  She would never do it.  Now, dinner time for her is a big ass pile of jumbo mice.  She eats them one by one.  She's no worse for wear but a huge pain in my ass.  Now, I'll never buy a carpet unless I know they're at least feedining on rat pinks.

I dont have carpets... but when I wanted my guys to go from mice to rats.. Well I moved a rat into their room.  Buddy is a firm fixture in the snake room now.  When it is time to feed,  I clean his cage first, then bring in the f/t rats for the snakes.  Works wonders.
