Q: Leopard Gecko mouth rot?

I was recently given 5 Leopard Geckos and one of them is sick.  I've never owned Leopard Gecko's before but decided to take them in because the person really just wanted to gt rid of them. 4 of them are healthy. They a good weight, active and eating well. One of them though is much skinnier although she is still eating well. But she has a kind of crust in the corners of her mouth. At first I thought it might be some retained shed but its not. The area is slightly swollen. She is still eating very well and is still pretty active however she is considerably thinner than the others and has me worried.

I've separated her from the rest of them. She is on paper towels and her feces appear normal. The ambient cage temp is 75 with a warmer basking spot. She is eating 7-10 gutloaded mealworms/crickets every day dusted with calcium and vitamins. I've only had her for 5 days but I'm worried it might be mouth rot and would like some opinions before I take her to the vet. I've been considering putting on some iodine and/or antibiotic ointment but don't know if it will help.

I'm including a picture but it's not the greatest. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

absolutely that's mouthrot. the crusty stuff looks like pus. there also appears to be an injury (which can cause or exacerbate the mouthrot) I wouldn't try to treat at home. I'd get her to the vet - if there's an underlying injury, then applying betadine or other remedies to the outside won't clear up the infection underneath. she might very well need something injectable to be certain there's no abscess in there. poor baby! that must hurt, I'm surprised she's eating well. she might be thin because her body's trying to fight off the infection and heal the injury?

Hey guys! Just wanted to say thanks for the confirmation! I took her in and got some meds and a high calorie/mineral powder mix to help get her weight back up. I'm also disinfecting and putting on an intibiotic from the vet on twice a day. And she's already looking 100% better! The crusty stuff is gone and the scabs are almost healed!  Thank you for your help. I'll try to get a couple new pictures up soon so you can see. :)
