bad

The only way of knowing what line of pastel a snakeis from (nerd lemon, grazianni, blone, etc) is to buy one from a breeder you trust.  In the end they are are still pastels with good examples of the line and bad examples. You can't tell if she comes from a particular line just by looking at a photo.

To me she appears to be a very beautiful pastel that will likely won't brown out too bad ;)

She does indeed look like a lemon pastel but like Bad said, unless you buy her from someone who is willing to show you the parents, there is no guarantee. I have two girls that look like they could be from the Enchi line, but no way to prove it so I just consider that I have some really nice pastels.

Wow! She sure has retained her colors! As has been said, she could be a lemon pastel, but you can't label her as one unless you have confirmation from the breeder.

there is absolutely no way to tell what line of pastel a BP is unless you buy it from, as everyone else said, a breeder who has some documentation on what line of pastels they are breeding. I have seen good and bad pastels from EVERY line, in fact some of the pastels I have seen for sale labeled "lemon" lately are downright cruddy! If you want a true lemon pastel, buy it from NERD, or buy it from someone who has two animals from NERD. Sure you'll pay more but you are getting a far superior animal IMHO. Not that you can't find great animals without paperwork.... as you clearly have found a knockout pastel.... but So many people these days just breed one thing to the other and slap a label on it so that it sells better... and it's so obvious that I can't beleive people fall for it half the time!

BTW that's a beatiful pastel regardless of what type it is. I had a female graziani pastel that was really nice. My mom owns a male pastel that looks a lot like yours... he has not browned out much at all! And from your pic he looks to be just a bit bigger.

I agree in the previous statement that a good pastel is a good pastel, no matter the line.    I have both lemon and regular pastels that were hand selected from NERD clutches and your pastel can easily hang with them.  Nice looking animal :)
