You can give him a worm bath. How long has it been?

I know that was meant to say "warm" bath - LOL

But yes, the first thing I'd try is putting him in your bathtub and encouraging his to swim if he doesn't on his own.

+1 for the warm bath but if that doesn't work you don't need to "make" him unless there seems to be other issues present.  If there is no swelling or hard mass then just wait. As long as he is still eating and drinking and passing urates (the white stuff) then he should be fine and will poop when it's time.

Where is the animal/tracking?

What is "a while"? How old is the animal? Feeding frequency?

*nudge nudge* :)

let the snake do its thing, if it's gotta go it's gotta go. if you haven't changed your heating at all since summer, maybe it's time to increase the heat a little.

why is everyone so worried about poop...?

also, how big is the animal and what sized feeders are you giving it?  it might be using everything you're feeding it.

Jen- I laffed so loud when I read that last line that both cats ran out of the room.  My only poop worry is when I get a handful of the fresh stuff whilst cleaning cages. poop

Just clean his cage. ^_^ (It never fails).

Seriously, though, if he's eating regularly, don't worry about his poop.  If he had an obstruction, he would feel sick, and wouldn't eat.  Sometimes they save it up for a while.

As long as you can't feel any hard blockages in his tail he is ok. If he is eating and drinking you are ok, he will retain his food untill he has got all the nutrients out of it.
