Hey i was going to start breeding and wondering the costs of some balls.  I was thinking spiders, pastels, pinstripes, and genetic stripes.  What are your prices or prices at shows?? couldn't find many prices online..

THanks

go check NERD's site. that's what you'll pay for high-quality stuff.

do you have any reptile shows near you?

Fauna would be your best bet in my opinion. The site has hundreds and hundreds of listings.

Hundreds and hundreds of old listings as well. Make sure to check the date, they are still "for sale" even though listed in 2004. Hahahhaha

fauna and kingsnake will be two great references. also BHB will have a good selection with prices once their babies start getting up online.

If you have any expos near you that would be the best place to go since you can save or shipping.  I agree with the comments about Faunaclassifieds.com I've bought several ball pythons from that website with no issues.  Also, prices will vary depending on if you want babies, sub-adults, or adults.  Prices for males and females will also vary.

Here are some ads I found that may have some things you're looking for:

Hope this helps.  FYI there are also ads on iHerp that may have what you'd like.

you should look at some OTHER snakes :P seriously. there are thousands of equally awesome species out there that will not cost you nearly as much. Maybe I am biased. :)

If you are going to start breeding also think about how many of each are on the market already. Pastels and spiders are hard to move because the market is flooded with them. I wholesale most of mine now. I would prefer not to make them at all but you always have byproducts from different breedings trying to make combos. Also some balls including spiders have genetic defects. So make sure you do some reading on the morphs.

I would go to kingsnake and browse for a while before you commit to anything.  Figure out what you like and find the best example.  Get quality snakes.
