I just fed my new MBKing and when I first took him out he was just really skiddish and tail flicking ect. Which was a first. I haven't been handling much because I wanted him to adjust but am I not handling him enough? I got him on Sunday. I've handled him maybe 3-4 times since I got him for breif 5min periods. Before today he wasn't so..angry? Or was he just hungry and should be more calm in a few days?

Sidenote, I think he might of musked me a little my hand smells. x.x lol

The breif 5min things basically consisted checking his temp, water, make sure he looks good and is still there(I say still there because on the ride home he was pushing pretty hard on the lid trying to get out so I'm a bit parionoid and I have a book on top of his thing besides the fact it has the locks on both sides) and then I left him alone (except for that one photo opt)

When you say brief handling, (check water, temps, etc) do you actually handle him during these times, or are you just opening the cage & not picking him up each time?

You got him 4 days ago, & he's a baby, he's probably just stressed from being moved to a new home.

Kings tend to be flighty, especially as babies, & often eventually grow out of it & can be handled no problem.

It's generally recommended to leave babies alone for a week, with no actual handling, or feeding. Babies stress a lot easier than adults do. You defintely want to leave him alone for two days after feeding, otherwise he might  regurge.

I pick him up examin him give him the look over. I probably hold him for no more then two mins. Except for today which was about 4-5. But he was tail flicking since I picked him up not when I went over the usual time.

Mkay I just wasn't sure. I'm so use to my sand boas just being like "Hey hows it goin" no tail flicks just kinda moving on the hand. I was slightly worried I was gonna get my first bite. o.o Though I don't think it would hurt that much?

+1 to Heather.  Baby kings tend to be flighty: tail-rattling, biting and even musking.  Try to leave him alone as much as possible over the next week (other than feeding) to let him really settle in and get comfortable with his new home.
