So I know I've posted about my sand boa not eating before. But this time is my male. And he's gone off feed for 56 days. He has shed stuck on his face (posting pics) I can't get off. I've been soaking him and everything. I added some shed assitance stuff I got from pet co Idk if it will work but worth a shot. I'm really worried. He lost two grams and now he only weighs 6 grams. Should I try and force feed him? Vet visit?

His temps are fine. I don't know what to do. :/ He's active, moving around. I think he just attempted to hiss at my dog. (He opened his mouth when he entered? Maybe it was just a yawn? o,O) Anyway he just seems a little less active then normal. But still active. Idk fi that makes sense. Gah.

take him to the vet. I know it's only 2 g, but he's lost 25% of his body weight in less than 2 months. I don't care what animal you are, that's significant.

the stuck shed is pretty obviously a problem, but if you've done the soaking and the shed aid stuff and just can't get it, professional help might be called for. good luck; he looks thin in that picture, poor little guy
