Q: 08 Cali King refusing to eat

Purchased this snake at the end of October.  Was told that it had shed and was feeding well on F/T pinkies.  First week of November it turned opaque and it shed last week.  Have yet to get it to eat either with F/T or Live pinkies.  Animal is very active and acting normal other than refusal to eat.  Should I be concerned and if so, how do I remedy the problem?  Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I think you shouldnt worry at this point. The snake went through the moving process and shed in a very small amount of time. He probably hasnt completed acclimated himself to the new set up, sights, and smells. Leave him be for another week to get used to the new place. Dont handle him, make sure he has places to hide, and double check temps and humidity. He should come around soon. If for some reason he doesnt come around, ask user Funkyres for advice. He knows his kings.

If you have other concerns, you can also refer back to a couple of prior posts that have been moved to the "answers" section about ideas and techniques to get a snake to eat.  Good luck!
