Do you have her UTH on a thermostat/dimmer? Was she soaking a lot during the shedding process? I would say that it looks closer to a burn than scale rot.

I would recommend cleaning out the enclosure, and removing the substrate (replacing it with paper towel). You can apply Polysporin thinly around the affected areas, but just make sure that the stuff you use does NOT have pain relief. Keep a close eye on it. From there I would recommend daily soaks in a Betadine/water solution. The biggest thing is to keep it clean.

I agree It look's like a burn clean the cage and use an antibiotic ointment without pain killer in it and make sure your heat pad is not cooking the snake '

Looks to me like a burn. i had one actually get burned about 3 years ago when a thermostat failed and it looked like that except a little worse. i would assume a heat mat of some sort done it. most comon burns like that are either from a uth or a regular house used heating pad for aches that some people try and use.

please do not use ointment as petroleum products are bad for herps - if you don't have Silvadene, use a neosporin-type CREAM.

Looks like a burn, agreed do NOT use ointment or jelly on that. Get a thermostat, you can't possibly be using one if you have a burn that bad.

well the general consensus is a burn, and I'd have to agree. I would recommend taking her to a herp vet just to be on the safe side, they may want to prescribe an antibiotic to help prevent an infection. http://www.herpvetconnection.com/. Check your thermostat, the thermostat's probe, and maybe try to get a temp-gun reading. Also, you may want to increase how often you are cleaning the enclosure, at least until she's good and healed.
