Best book/website that gives care information on a wide range of gecko species?

Hey fellow iHerpers! I need your advice and network of resources.
I've got a fiancee that just expressed an interest in getting his own breeding pair (or small colony) of geckos. I already have leopard geckos and he likes them, but he would like to "Do his own thing" and get something that suits his tastes. What I'm looking for are suggestions for a good book or website that will give him an overview of the care and husbandry of a wide range of species. If that isn't possible, direction to multiple excellent species specific books and websites would be great. I'd like to start him off right, without heaps of misinformation.
I can also give you a little info on the fiancee himself, and I would welcome your redommendations on his first herps!
- These will be his first herps, so nothing too tough. Fairly easy care and feeding please.
- He likes some contact with animals, and I don't think he would like something that hides all the time or is too shy to hold. I often see him talking to my female leo Nipper when she is up at the front of her cage begging for goodies. He is delighted when she follows his finger through the glass, or when she stares into his eyes and cocks her head.
- He really favors a nice planted cage, and was obsessed with my chameleon's cage.
- He would eventually like to try breeding, and I would prefer an easy to rear species so he can feel successful and get hooked!!
- He really likes animals that can vocalize.
- I suspect he would like to be able to tell his pets apart, so some slight variation between individuals or sexes would probably be good.
He already said my leos were too common, and that he would like to try something different.... I think cresties are still on the table though, as I have caught him looking at them during shows and occasionally googling them. He has also commented that cat geckos, some white lined geckos, and viper geckos "look awesome".
If you have any good suggestions for books, websites, or great species, I would love your input. Help me get this man hooked on herps!!!
I'm so excited I could explode - thanks in advance <3

I would get him to look through the photo gallery on iHerp and see what catchs his attention. One of the Rhac species sounds like it might be a good fit.

Eesh, would recommend that you look through better care sheets than what's on reptileparadise.com. The crestie care sheet says nothing about a commericial diet (Repashy) nor does it say anything about calcium supplements...at least on the leopard gecko care sheet...didn't bother to read the rest lol. But it's a good website to show him and see if he's interested in the looks of any of the reptiles.
As for recommendations...I highly suggest the crested geckos. But I'm biased, as they're my favorite lol.

Julie Bergman's, "Geckos" is an excellent survey of a wide range of species. I would recommend a Tokay Gecko. They are interesting and noisey geckos although they have a bit of a reputation for being aggressive.
