Retained Eyecaps or Demonic Possession?

Not even proper grammar and punctuation will get me taken seriously, but thanks for looking out, Aaron.
And now for serious business... My western hog, Badger^4, is having some eye problems. It's either that or demonic possession, I'm not sure which. Which is why I'm here now. So, like, over the winter he had a terrible shed. I had to pull him from brumation and warm him up to soak and fix him. He retained both eyecaps. He still ate. Next shed was perfect and all the eyecaps came off. He looked amazing. And every shed since has been checked for eyecaps. He hasn't retained any since what will now be referred to as The Shitty Shed of 2011. So obviously his last shed did contain eyecaps. I saw them. I checked and then double checked. I counted even, out loud AND with my fingers. 2 eyecaps. Dos. Two.
Tell me why he looks like he's retained eyecaps? At first I thought cateracs, but his eyes aren't milky, just foggy. And he isn't in shed. In fact, he acting more like a hog than he ever has in the past. He's super active, super funny, and super hungry. He eats ALL THE THINGS! His eyes just look wrong.
Thoughts?

Fluid build up from something?
I'm voting for possession by demonic ducks.

It doesn't appear to build up of any kind. I guess the best way to describe it, it looks like slightly opaque glass. Not like the foggy blue from being in shed. I can still see his pupil and iris, it's just off. I tried to take a picture but he said cameras steal souls and then he threatened to kill my dogs. I put him back.

I don't know if you can take anything from this or not, Nate, but I have a now 1 yr old Suri that I fed rat pinks to when I first got her to help use up the bag of them I had. I then switched to mice... once on mice she had a horrific shed, and then another, and while no retained eyecaps, her eyes - one more than the other - got weird looking. I switched back to rats, and she's back to shedding great and her eyes are fine... maybe it does have something to do with that particular animal's nutritional need???

As soon as one of Jen's rats has some babies, maybe I'll try that.

Julie, I considered that too, but his last shed was almost 2 months ago today and he's looked like this since. I would have asked sooner but I'm lazy and he's acting like nothing is wrong. I think he's only refused one meal in the past 2 months? I figured that if he were sick, he wouldn't eat.

Maybe something within that last shed cycle is to blame and the next shed will leave them looking clear again.... stranger things have happened. LOL

Well, then it's intentionally blinding itself so it doesn't have to see the stupid ball pythons. Problem solved, give me points.

It's like that is it, Abby!!! Well now the gloves are off!
Badger^4 shed not too long ago. Both eyecaps were intact with the shed. And while his newly adorned caps are much more clear, the fogginess is still there. It has to be demonic possession.
