7 month crested gecko: male or female Part 2

Hey guys! So, most of you probably saw my first question, and a lot of you asked for pictures of pores on my CG so you could give me better answers. I couldnt seem to post pictures in the comments, so here i am again. Anyways, for those who didnt see the original question, i've had this gecko for just over a month now, and he/she is about 7 months old. It has developed a noticible bulge (first question) but i cant seem to see any pores. Yes, i know that females do develop a slight bulge if they are well fed, but this is more prominent than that. Please see the original question for more details and the bulge pictures. I'll also include one bulge picture. So here's the pores:

personally, I don't see a bulge on that gecko.
I also think it's WAY too early to nail for certain without a least a good loupe.
and...sorry or not, no one on here can look at pictures that are that blurry, and tell you whether or not there are pores.
give him/her time. in a matter of months, it will be obvious.
one last thing - weight is more important by far than age with a young crestie. what does s/he weigh?

i'lll say the same, those pics are not good enough to see. and that gecko looks too small to see posres with the naked eye anyway. give it time. i know it's difficult to wait, but you either need a jewler's loup or patience... I personally can't see pores until they are about 20g or so (I don't have a loup)... I can't tell too well from the pics, but your gecko looks like maybe 12g at most if I assume your hands are about the size of mine...

I agree. It's hard to tell until they are at least 10 grams with a loupe but always better the bigger they are. It looks like you may have a female but the picture quality is low so it's very hard to tell. Let time pass and eventually you'll find out for sure :)

thanks for thehelp guys, but i think i have a male! I looked again today and surprisingly i see two or three solid lines of pores between his legs. I cant be positive, but i think it's male. Still, though, if anyone ccan see those pix properly and has an idea, feel free to post it.

Oh and Aimee: I don't know what s/he ways because I don't have a weight scale that measures grams.
Cenobite: um, what was the purpose of that picture?

Those pics are too blurry for me to tell, how sure are you of the age of the gecko?

This is a pic I found, I'm not at home or I'd try to get a good pic of one of my males, but this is what you'll want to look for:

A green rectangle should be pretty obvious. Maybe it isn't old enough yet?

Tiki108: I'm pretty sure since I know what month he was born, but not the exact date.

Ok, I was just curious if someone sold him/her to you without telling you and you were guestimating or if they told you.

Age really isn't relevant in sexing a crested gecko unless you have a really fast grower - recently I heard of one that is six months old and twenty grams with debatable pores or false pores. If it grows THAT quickly, it might be a conundrum in determining sex if you don't have an awesome macro camera or at least a 30X jeweler's loupe, especially without having a gram scale. Basically, you're going to have to wait awhile and see if a bulge drops when your gecko is about 6 to 7 inches long - that is roughly young adult length and seems to be the only way for you to have an idea as to how far along in growth it is. You cannot see pores with the naked eye.
If you're housing him/her alone, it really doesn't matter anyway.
