We got my monitor, due to age... We really don't car about sex, nor are we interested in breeding. But, it would be nice to know what sex it is. Is there any way to find out without having to take it in for ultrasounds?

Sometimes with juveniles (and adults) you can hold a small LED flashlight up against the side of the base of the tail in a dark room and see the hemipenes. I always carry a small flashlight with me in case I'm asked for a specific gender with monitors....and George that was just sooo nasty LOL but it happens. Then its a sure thing

If the flashlight doesn't work, watch it poop.
