Supplements?

Already asked this question in a forum, actually, and just got the run-around as far as what I need in a supplement (d3, dust 2x per week, phosphorus free...yes, I know) So, I'm asking here.
Particularly with leopard geckos, what do you all use for supplements?
Why am I changing supplements? I was using Miner-All Indoor for dusting feeders and Miner-All Outdoor for calcium bowls, but with the recent signs of a vitamin A deficiency in a juvenile, I noticed that there's no vitamin A in either of these. Also had changed the gutload on my feeders, again, no vitamin A, so still going back to original gutload, but also wanted to change supplements.

Most brands you are going to have to supplement minerals and vitamins separately (with vitamin D3 being the exception). A lot of people will do 3 days of mineral supplement on insects, and 2 days of vitamin supplement on crickets per week. The other two days can be supplement free.
This is true of the Sticky Tongue products you’re using. Miner-All (Indoor or Outdoor) is a mineral supplement – so it wouldn’t have the vitamin A you’re looking for. Sticky Tongue does make a vitamin supplement called Vit-All which is pretty good that you could add into your routine that will supplement vitamins.
Rep-Cal is another good brand which makes separate mineral and vitamin supplements. Rep-Cal Ultrafine Calcium (available with or without vitamin D3) and Rep-Cal Herptivite are their primary products.
Repashy is the only all-in-one supplement I’d trust. Their Calcium Plus ICB (insect cricket balancer) is a complete vitamin and mineral supplement all in one. The obvious plus about this product is that you don’t have to have two different supplements or deal with rotating them – it’s the same supplement each time.
I've used all of these products, and think they're all good products. The Sticky Tongue Miner-All and Vit-All are nice because of how they're designed to really truly stick to the insects. The Rep-Cal products coat with more of a dusting action - but are also good quality products as well. Myself, I really like Repashy products, and with my memory, I really appreciate not having to keep track of which supplement I used when - so if I ever get back into bug-eaters, I'll probably use the Repashy Calcium Plus ICB. I like the thought and research and testing that Repashy puts into his products, and the way he continually updates his products to make them better and better. But really I don't think you can go wrong with any of these product lines. I do think it's a good idea to use both - a vitamin AND a mineral supplement.

^^^ Good answer^^^
I use Rep-Cal products. Also along with the gut load for your feeders, throw in some carrots. They are high in vitamin A. Feeders eat it and its passed on to your herps.

I agree with the above. Personally, I have switched to Repashy's LoD calcium supplement. There is a whole lot of debate over vitamin d3, how necesarry it is, and with what species. It works well for me. And I still use repcal herptivite as my vitamin. For my geckos, which are all doing very well, I mix a tiny bit into the LoD calcium supplement every time I dust anything, (I also do this with beardies and occasionally with my tegu.) It's my own answer to the newer repashy all in one supplement. I don't actually measure it out exactly, though I suppose I should, but I use a ratio of about 10:1 calcium:herptivite. And actually, as the herptivite has d3 in it already, when I reup on the calcium, I am probably going to go with a pure calcium next time around.

One thing I read a long time ago, regarding Herptivite and calcium usage together, claimed that due to the way beta carotene was used in Herptivite, you should not mix it with calcium supplements. The beta carotene (at least back then - I'm not sure if it has changed or not) was in the form of beadlets or micro bubbles, or something like that, and the minerals would damage it. Repashy provides the vitamin A in two different forms - as retinol and as beta carotene. They say that their beta carotene is in a stable enough form and high enough in quality that the calcium won't damage or degrade it.
I don't really know about leopard geckos need of vitamin D3 in their diet. Repashy's Calcium Plus ICB does have some vitamin D3 in it. If you want to use a calcium product in a dish in the cage I would opt for something more along the lines of Rep-Cal Ultrafine Calcium WITHOUT D3, or Miner-All Outdoor - neither of which have vitamin D3 in them. Vitamin D3 is fat soluble, and can be overdosed, so I think that's something that should be administered a little more precisely. I know leopard geckos are nocturnal, and don't benefit greatly from UVB lighting, but since they still need it to metabolize calcium it would seem that they should have at least some regularly in their diet, in some form.

Leos definitely need D3, the amount they need is of great debate. And you are right abiut the beta carotene in the herptivite. Supposedly it will break down if left mixed with calcium. I should have said i only mix small portions, not by the bottle.

I've never used it but i've asked before about vitamins and people always told me to use Vionate for bulk animals, but if just for a smaller group then just grab whichever smaller sets..
