Q: Rescue corn snake labelled an anery, but I have doubts.

Apologies for the photo, she's very squirmy so it's the best I could do at present, could possibly get better/more if necessary.

At any rate, this female common corn is a rescue; I was told she's an anery and never gave it much thought. However, after doing quite a bit of corn-research as of late, I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of anerys are very dark in colour, if not near black, though often with brown undertones.

This snake, however, is more of a grey-brown with a very yellow neck, as you can see. Her colour reminds me more of a cinder or possibly a charcoal, but debating and analysing morphs isn't really my thing.

tldr; I'd love to know what you guys make of the look of this snake - I may attempt to prove her out if I'm curious enough!

FyreFocks

Anery is right.

Cinders definitely don't yellow and charcoals rarely, if ever, yellow.

I second Anery.
