Looking into finding breeding information and locals by Conroe, Texas

Looking for local breeders or online breeders to befriend and learn more than I know about ball pythons. I am not a beginner and not a breeder but would like more information on this and how to tell breed by color and markings now. Like lesser,clown,spider,pastel,cinnamon and all that good stuff. I am beginning a larger collection now and would like to find details and breeding. Please write me if we can talk and would like to share info and also on a nother note am looking for ones for sale to pick up in collection.

Technically morphs and breeds are different things. If you need any help feel free to message me, I don't live in TX, but I can help you with any questions you might have. I don't know anyone on here that wouldn't be willing to help though. For questions you can search this section (iHerp Answers) and if you can't find the answer to your question then you can post a new one. Also if you post an introduction blog it will appear on the homepage for a time and the active members will say hi and you can meet some folks that way.

To learn about ball python morphs (different from breeds), find a good ball python forum to join, and hang out there. Iherp has a great answers section too.

Just befriend people on here. I have ball pythons and I am willing to help with any questions you have. For a hands on guide you can get The Complete Ball Python book. You can also check out Mike Wilbanks site www.pythonregius.com . under each morph he has a little description. Also cenobite gave a good site. The morph calculator is great and it will show you if you put this morph to that what you will get.

On iherp check out the morph gallery. Users on here post there morphs, and it has alot of good pics.

Btw they technically aren't breeds they are morphs. There are a ton of great people on here that I am sure are willing to help!!! I know its a lot to take in because everyday it seem there is a new morph. and its even more crazy when you get to the Het for this Het for that scenarios. You can also check out the few of my ball pythons and if you have any questions about there morphs or how to tell I am willing to help as much as I can.

I'm in Conroe, but I don't do ball pythons. A great place to acquire some is at Eric's store, Pet's A Plenty www.ultimatereptiles.com. He has a few morphs on hand right now, I think about 6 different ones, that aren't listed on the website yet.
