Its usually a sign of dominance, my beardy does it when he sees his reflection and thinks its another bearded dragon haha.

Also, there are exceptions, but usually males are the ones that head-bob.  Your little girl(s) may turn out to be male, I made the same mistake trying to sex my baby and had to rename Lela to Leo.

Sometimes my males puff there beards up when i come into the room.they will usually turn it pitch black then they calm down and go about there business.A  female will head bob when she is with a male atleast mine do the females isnt as violent as the males or as quick. Its more of im the girl here i dont wanna fight..its quiet exiciting to watch...

Also depends how big your beardies are if they are still small and they see you or something bigger then them its defense time..they puff up to look bigger and more fierce..

Agression. Trying to get you to fuck off.
Or if he sees another BD dominance.
Don't house two males together.

This could also be from smoke. Is there smoke in the house? I mean it could be from smoke if this happens and there is no reason for aggression.  Obv. we know that bearded dragons display their beards!
