Q: When to use heat packs (Reptile Shipping)?

I am a first time shipper, and have been doing a ton of research on safely shipping my boas.

I am shipping from WA, with an overnight temp of 52 (with 66 daytime) to another state with an overnight temp of 72 (with 82 daytime). Would it be suggested to use a heat pack or not?

Now, as you see in WA it's still a little cold, in the "use a heat pack" temperature, BUT where the Boa is going, it is much warmer with the suggestion of "no heat pack needed" (following guidelines below). So as you can see I am stuck in the middle of using a heat pack or not. What are your suggestions?

From Ship Your Reptiles:

Reptiles

Below 38°F: Don’t ship. Wait for warmer weather.

38-70°F: Use a heat pack per our directions.

70-92°F: No heat pack required.

Thanks for any and all advice! It is much appreciated!

I would go with no heat pack. Always error on the side of cool vs hot.
