Q: Can someone help with this cornsnake morph?

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for some help from someone with some knowledge in cornsnake genetics / morphs.
We adopted a cornsnake at the beginning of the month. It seems to be healthy & in good shape - so no problem there : ), but we aren't positive about what morph it is. The adoption chair called it an albino - I'm sure that's not all the genetics in it, though. Someone else said it's probably a "snow" and that sounded like a pretty good guess, but in looking online, those seem to have a lot more yellow in them. I'm thinking maybe it could be a "blizzard"? What do you all think?? Maybe something else? Or, is it too hard to determine from the pic ? Or will we have to wait 'til it gets a little older when some more coloring may come out?  I would guess it's getting close to 2 yrs. old ?? It weighs 162 grams.
Thanks for your input.

: ) Sonja

He looks more like a blizzard to me than a snow. Snows have definite yellow/pink coloring and your guy is very much white.

The adoption person is technically correct - he is an albino in the truest sense. Lots of people call amelanistic cornsnakes "albino" when all they are missing is the black pigment. Good luck with your guy, he looks beautiful!

I think it has way too much  pattern for a blizzard, but Ive seen snows that look like that.....

I think it's a snow not a blizzard.  Blizzards have no pattern that you can really see.  The yellow is the last color to come out and will probably develop more as it ages.

Because of how visible the pattern is I'd say snow which is amel and anery type 'A' combined. But because of how white it is it could also be a blizzard which is amel and anery type b (AKA charcoal) combined. Really the only way to be absolutely certain is to breed it to either a snow and if the offspring are all snow then it is a snow. Or breed it to a blizzard and if the offspring are all blizzard then it is a blizzard.
Either way it is a stunning animal.

I can't say snow or blizard but I suspect snow.
Note that some AneryB have a lot of yellow and some AneryA don't have yellow, so you can't really go on neck/side yellowing, even though the tendency is for aneryA to have more yellow than aneryB.

I just happen to see an adult corn snake tonight when I went to pick up some feeders and it looked exactly like this. I asked if it was an albino or blizzard and was told no it was a snow.....

well, like you probably know the difference in a snow and a blizard is hard to tell from a picture, irl it can even be hard and the only way to know for sure is to breed it with anoter snor or blizard.
blizards tend to be more equal white but dont have to be. the big difference is genetical because anery A and B (charcoal) are total different on that level.

if you breed it with another snow and you get amel then you know for sure it is a blizard, if you on the other hand get all snows its a snow.

nice snake btw

Snow is a mix of Albino and Anery a

If you breed your corn to a normal you will get Dobbelt het for Albino and Anery a the babies will look nornal...

Thank you everybody for all your help!!
We weren't aware that this snake was in shed - just so hard to tell with the albino snakes, sometimes. Anyway, it shed the day before yesterday, and with this,we can now definitely see some yellow coloration! I will call it a SNOW. And hopefully prove it someday in the future! : )
