Virgin hognose laying slugs? Help!

My 4 year old western hognose snake has never been with a male, but laid a slug tuesday night. I made a vet appointment for her, and found another slug yesterday morning. That makes two slugs.
I took her in and they felt her and found more eggs. An x-ray revealed that she had 14 still inside of her.
The vet has no idea how long they've been in her, and neither do I. Her behavior never changed and I had no idea she was even cooking these eggs.
My question is, how can i make her comfortable so she can lay them? I made a laybox for her and filled it with cypress mulch, and she's been using it.
Has anyone else had experience with something like this?
The vet was fairly unhelpful and suggested I research on my own the best way to deal with this, and said if she starts refusing food or acting lethargic to bring her in for surgery. I'm at a loss. Help?

I would provide a nest box like you have, double check your husbandry, and leave her be.

If she goes more than a couple days without laying more, then I'd consult a vet.

My "male" did this to me last year, spring time, she laid 4 or so in her viv and then one was way larger and was stuck, it was visible at the vent causing a large bulge, after three days soaking and watching her push to no avail I set up a vet trip, it passed an hour before the vet visit so I took her in anyway for a look see and they said there were no more inside. Low and behold 3 more sluggs passed over the next two days, and hoo wee was she a feeding machine after all that trouble for nothing.
