Q: Hognose Weight and Length

I have a new 6-month-old western hognose. I just got him yesterday (a bit earlier than I had planned, but still excited). I'm a little concerned about his weight, though. He is about 8-10 inches long and weighs 12 grams. Is that normal for his age? His previous owner was feeding him one mouse pinkie every week, though everything I've read says that you should feed them at least twice a week. I'm new to this species, so any advice is welcome. (I'm well versed on temps, lighting, housing, and such. Growth rates aways get me, though.) Thank you! Happy herping!

Cenobite

Mine weighed 90g at 2 years old so..........maybe that's normal?

I believe they hatch at just 4 - 5 inches, so I would also think that sounds ok. I know with my Kenyan Sand Boas, it takes them a long time to really see them starting to put weight on, but when they finally get to the size where they can eat fuzzies, then they grow so much quicker!
