Ability to edit breeding record and view additional comments?
|
|
Can functionality be added so we can edit a breeding record, not the 'vitals' but the items added ('introduced male', etc). For instanace, I added 'pre ov shed' but turns out it wasn't but I am unable to edit this record.
Also, for both breeding record and general tracking, is there a way (or can a way be added) to view the 'additional comments'? I don't know how in breeding section, in general tracking I can only view my comments if I click to 'edit' the line. Would be nice if it was added in the tables or a 'view' button was there.
If a way already exists to do these things, please advise as I haven't found it yet.
Thank you :)
(side note, I was unable to only select 'knowledge base', getting error 'you must select at least one area' so I included animals - general health)

I will look into the "addition comments" thing in a minute, but for your particular edit issue, here is my fix (for I have had the same problem):
Since I'm assuming it was just a normal shed, I go into the normal tracking section and delete that entry, because the breeding entries show up in the normal tracking section. Then I just add a normal tracking entry with the appropriate date for the shed.

OK so the other thing about addition comments.. This is roundabout and annoying, but it can be done.
When you're viewing the animals page, look at it's public page (the one the other members can see when they click on your animals page) and not the behind the scenes page where you do your editing and such. Assuming your animals' tracking is public, it will bring up the tracking in a table and if your entries has addition comments then you can view them there. If your animals' tracking is not set to public then you're out of luck.

Thank you very much, this all helps. Almost all my animals are set to private but the ones that aren't, I now see where I can view the comments, that is very helpful. Now if they can be done for the private animals... all the better! haha thanks again!
