Q: What should I name these?
Posted By:

I don't tend to have many questions that need ot be put up that are urgent or health related as I like researching things before asking here. Which means that I tend to figure out what I need before needing to ask anyone else. So this question is kinda more of a fun contest because I'm always seeing serious topics. Whoever gives me the best spider names will get the points to this question. What would you name these two spiders?  (Both can be seen in my animals)

Spider 1= adult chilean copper tarantula female

Spider 2= subadult carolina wolf spider female

I'm definitely going to name the little wolf spider Aranea. So split points go to you Cenobite. Anyone have another unique name for the Chilean copper?

Double Helix Geckos

Actually, since she is a she, perhaps a seductive spider name...Jorogumo?

"According to legend, when a spider turns 400 years old, it gains magical powers. Stories of Jorogumo can be found in Edo period works, such as "Taihei-Hyakumonogatari" (?????) and "Tonoigusa" (???). In many of these stories, Jorogumo changes its appearance into a beautiful woman to ask a samurai to marry her, or takes the form of a young woman carrying a baby (which may turn out to be a spider's eggsack).[1]"

I'm a big anime+manga+okami fan and I can't believe I didn't think to name her Jorogumo.  XD  So the points will be split between Double Helix Geckos and Cenobite.
