Hot water until they are warm and squishy to the touch.
Not too squishy though. Over thaw and they split open during constriction and the smell is horrid.

I thaw them within a plastic bag in warm water. Most of my adults eat them at room temp, but with new babies, I submerge in hot water for a few seconds and then offer right after.

I thaw in cold water in a bowl for 2-3 hours depending on prey size. Mice can usually thaw in an hour, rats I prefer at least 3 hours. Then I pour out that water and put in hot water and bend the rodents around to make sure they are squishy and malleable and then offer to the snakes.
