If you love the way they look as newborns (I sure do), you should look up some pictures of the adults. Personally, I don't like the way the adults look, and that has stopped me from doing anything more than looking at pretty pictures of the babies; I don't really want one. Locality boas on the other hand... they are so on my list!!

My hogs are sweeties. It's my ghost and hypo I have to worry about. I also love the look of adult sunglows, I like orange. But the babies are stunning, which they could keep the coloration.

You could also go for a male, as males tend to stay smaller and more compact than the females do

Or you could get a Cay Caulker, they stay about 5'. I love mine, they are very mellow! In fact I'm selling everything else I have to get more...hehehe I'm hooked!

Sunglows are gorgeous boas as babies and adults.. I'm hoping to make sunglows the aim of my first boa project which means I'm in the market for a hypo het albino male to pair with my albino. If your biggest issue is size, than definitely either choose a male or go with some of the smaller locality boas such as Hoggs. Then there are also the Dumerils and the like! Good luck with your decision! I doubt youll regret whatever you decide to do.
And yes, reptiles are very addicting! I'm sitting here waiting for my new baby corn to arrive (next week) and I just purchased another baby last weekend and have only had my albino boa for maybe a month and a half.. The life of a herp addice, I suppose...
