double check to see if the shed is rolled up and hidden somewhere. that happens. but in your case, i think you are noticing the priod between when a python is opaque and actually sheds. the animal looks much better than while is was cloudy, but will look even better when that shed comes off. it might be tonight. spray the cage with water to encourage and soften the shed, but otherwise, just give another 30-48 hours. it will come.

when a ball python is going to shed there eyes are cloudy then when they about to actually start shedding they will clear up so i would expect the snake to start its shed sometime within the next 24hrs and you may want to wait for the shed to be complete before you feed again.

One good way to tell if they shed is check there body color out. If they are about to shed, of course the eyes will haze over, but also their body color will be very dull and have a pink belly. Once they've shed it is very apparent because their colors will be so much brighter. I pay alot of attention to my snakes color and I take them out alot, so I always know when they are about to shed and when they have shed, even if I don't see the shed skin right away.

Another thing to keep in mind is that many poop when they shed, sometimes stuff they may have saved up from a feeding or two; shed poops are always noticeable! ;)
All the other info here is entirely accurate (in my experience) :)
