Q: Water Turtle Question

My nephew has a pair of red eared sliders, I would like to get him another type of turtle to add to his collection, what species would be compatable  with RES. His set up is more than adequate to handle 1 or even 2 more turtles. I am into snakes so I would love to here from you turtle people! LOL
Thanks,
Mike

Musk Turtles, River Cooters, & Map Turtles I know for sure work (had a mixed tank for years), and I can't see any reason why painted turtles wouldn't work either?
