Q: question about chondro luvin

Heres a question for all you chondroheads out there.I just recently aquired a  Biak type male chondro from edensnakes here in good ol' Husker country about a month ago.

Puke Puke Barf Barf.....(not a husker fan)

anyway,I have 2 chondros that I've had for nearly three years, both of which I'm sure are female. They've never missed a meal and have'nt found sperm plugs as of yet.Anyway,I have the new animal whom is a male in a seperate room. However,my possible female Biak has been spreading urates quite often,Not everynight but just about. My question is can a hoochie chondro pick up the sent of a mack daddy chondro from 20 ft away and in a seperate room?...could he/she be a male and the urate smearing is a territorial thing?.....I just found it interesting is all. Thanks for your replys in advance.

I had a female who spread urates everywhere when paired with a male, so you could presume that she's picking up on the male and saying "NO SOUP FOR YOU"

See, with the snakes Jacobsens organ, I always aliken it to someone cooking bacon ... no matter how far away you are, you can still smell it. :)

I get it....I'm a sausage man myself. I wont be able to try a breeding for a year and a half but I am pretty sure the unsexed Biak I have is a female. After the quarentine period is over would housing them in the same room cause unneeded stress to the female?....Like maybe going off feed ?...or just cause her or him to be...shall we say....frustrated?....hehe

Even when I'm thawing rats on a different floor, they come to the glass and are like, "ooh... foodies somewhere"... So I really think they have a sense of "smell" like a bloodhound.
