Someone can come along and correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like there are 14 different subspecies of African house snakes. There are 5 that have been added to iHerp so far, so if you have a different subspecies than one of those 5 you will have to submit a new species which I believe you can do right on your dashboard, or while adding the animal.

Lamprophis taxonomy has been the subject of much debate for years, but what Jarred's saying is pretty consistent with what I've been hearing lately.  I highly doubt the snake here belongs to any of the species other than what's already listed on iHerp.  There are only a few species that are imported with any regularly, and the vast majority of them are L. fulginosis and capensis.  Regardless, all the Lamprophis are GREAT to keep!

Lamprophis fuliginosus The Brown House Snake. I'm 90% sure comparing your snake to the other species.
