I'm just curious as to what the temps and humidity levels should be for corn snakes ideally.  These are what my snakes temps and humidity levels are as of right now.  Are these ideal or too low or high or just right? Thanks for any feedback.

Diamond Comments Temp in viv is 85 degrees on warm side, 75 degrees on cool end and Humidity level is 50%. 6/25/2009
Zoe Comments Temp in viv is 82.5 degrees on warm side and 76 degrees on cool end. Humidity leve is 60%. 6/25/2009
Rose Comments Temp in viv is 82.9 degrees on warm side and 74 on cool end. Humidity level is currently 53%. 6/25/2009
Bindi Comments Temp in viv is 78 degrees on warm side and 70 at cool end. Humidity level is at 69%. Bindi is kept closest to a window to help with the temp in her viv plus he has a undertank heater . Otherwise her temp fluctuates a lot because my bedroom is pretty chilly and her viv is also next to the only air/vent in the room because I have no other clear area to put him. 6/25

If I had a choice I would keep the air/vent closed most of the day and only open at night. But everyone that I live with (my family) is hot natured and likes it pretty darn chilly in the house 24/7. I on the other hand like it on the warmer side. I hate being cold. But since I am outnumbered and share my bedroom I really don't have a say in the matter. I've tried all that I can for the time being to keep temps and humidity at the levels that I think are right.  Please let me know if these temps and humidity levels need to be elevated or changed slightly and I will do my best to do so.  Thanks.

I think they are fine. If they dont shed right, change your water dish or get a second one. When they turn opaque, increase misting frequencies. They should be just fine.

You could also add a "moist hide" - take a cheap tupperware container and cut a hole in it so they can get in and out, and put damp moss or coconut fiber in it.  When they are getting ready to shed, they will go in there if they need a higher humidity.  If you don't have Kathy Love's "Corn Snakes - The Comprehensive Owner's Guide" I'd highly recommend it.  Lots of good information in there.

Really, your snakes will tell you when something's "off" - if the humidity isn't high enough, they won't shed well; if the temps are too high or low they will be reluctant to eat, or else throw it up when they do.  So as long as they are eating and shedding and don't have any other health problems, you're good!  Corn snakes are not nearly as "picky" or demanding as some others.  They really are the perfect pet snake.
