Does anyone know why I shouldn't feed my Uromastyx's, kidney beans? are they toxic to them, or will they just get thunder thighs? I have looked for a reason online but no definition, just "No kidney beans."

I'm tired of being told to feed something  then told not to feed it! I want the best diet for these beastie beauty's. any idea's might put my spinning mind at ease.

I have been there, and it says nothing about kidney beans, just mention the ground bean mix I use. Thank you anyways Shell.

The thing I noticed it mentioned was that it can also lead to unhealthy fat production but that leans more towards peas. I have asked Doug about uro diets at shows and truly the mixed greens with dandelions and crushed mazuri is so easy and good for them. I don't know if maybe you just have an overload of kidney beans but unless you are just askin cuz, I would just keep in mind that a little bit of some stuff isn't going to hurt and if you are worried about it, don't feed it to them.
