No baby food please. it can cause MBD in your Crested. I speak from personal history. You need Crested gecko diet, and can get it at petco. I buy mine from Pangea. Also dust your crickets with calcium powder and if it has D3 in it make sure the D3 is low (put powder in bag and shake and bake, minus the bake LOL). I was always told never feed a bug if its larger than the space between the geckos eyes. I put a new dish of CGD in the Gecko's Girls tank every 2 days. they like rotting fruit, soo they eat more on day 2. I hope this helps you. If i can be any help just hit me up.

Here's the best care sheet I know of:  http://www.pangeareptile.com/id52.htm

Baby food does not have the nutrients that geckos need to live a long healthy life.  There are several brands of crested gecko foods, one is Repashy:  http://www.pangeareptile.com/store/index.php?target=categories&category_id=165  and another is made by T-Rex:  http://www.petco.com/Shop/Product.aspx?familyid=11002&Ntt=crested%20gecko&OneResultRedirect=1.

Feed them every other day, leave the food in there until you replace it.  I use disposable plastic portion cups, like restaurants use for ketchup, etc.  Feed with crickets a couple times a week, kinda as a treat; they don't need them if they are eating the crested gecko diet, but they have fun chasing the crickets around and it's good exercise for them.

I have to second the "NO baby food". In addition to the MBD, baby food can cause your crestie to be over-weight and create other health problems. I get my Crested Gecko Diet from beanfarm.com, other than that, I don't have a whole lot new to add... good luck with your crestie, they're fun :)

Like every one else said get your gecko on the proper diet. If you want crested gecko specific help go over to pangeareptile.com and get on there forums. As for feeding I give my guys new food as needed which tends to be every other day. Sense your guy is a baby keep him on paper towels so you can tell if he's pooping. Crested geckos will take 3 licks of food and be full so you will never ever really know if your gecko is eattig.

LOL hey Kate remember when you told me about Gecko's trecking CGD up the tank? Geiko did it last night. I had a full Cresty body print inthe CGD and then a trail up the glass! LOL so damn cute!

I would not recommend feeding them baby food. It does not give them the nutrients they need to grow (especially if they are a baby) I would recommend the Crested Gecko Diet. They can even live on that alone. I feed my baby crestie the 2 part diet: the base and apricot flavoring. She loves it! I don't even bother with crickets or dubia roaches. Too messy and stinky! But if you do feed yours crickets, many people dust them in calcium I guess...
