Our bearded dragon just recently turned a year old. How often should he shed now that he is a year of age?

As far as I know they kind of shed continuously...a patch here a patch there. I give mine a bath every now and then and that seems to keep the patches coming off pretty easily. They all eat at different rates and so will shed at varying rates as well. If you notice issues with it shedding you could either give it a bath or a damp moss box.

Mine is around the same age and he seems to finish a full shed once a month to month and a half or so, but it's hard to tell since he sheds random body parts at different times.  I wouldn't worry as long as he isn't retaining shed, and baths also help too :).  Very pretty colors by the way!

my beardie shes on and off, he will shed all the time here and there and then not shed for like 2 months then shed for like 3 months it just depends how fast they grow i guess

For mine it seems to depend on a combination of their exercise and food. Both of them eat the same amount but my male is more active and seems to be in a constant shed, different body parts at a time. But my female only sheds about every two months. I bath them in luke warm water with pedialyte mixed in to help with hydration once every week or two.

Once my bearded hit a year old he would only shed occasionally, but he also eats his shed skin. Withink the last year I have only seen him shed once and it was not his full body. I think it all depends on the individual, like others have said. Personally, it isn't anything I worry about as long as mine is healthy, eating well, and active.
