Q: Crested health, possible parasite?

Koopa [RC-F01]
I recieved my first crested for xmas, when I got it there was no signs of poor health around the vent or anywhere else.  Tonight I noticed a black spot at the vent which I assumed to be fecal matter, just a spot not a smear or an alarming amount just a dot.  The dot is smaller than the one on its side if you were to look at the pics I have posted.  I also noticed that the scale on the postvent side (closest to its tail) looks a little pink.

SInce this guy is so young getting a good look is difficult cause he likes to hop, I tried to get a good pic of the area.

Hopefully he is fine and nothing is wrong, but if you guys think there is something wrong please let me know and if you could give me some idea as to treatments, Im gonna take him back to the shop where my girlfriend bought him and talk to the owner also.

Thanks for any help I get, and sorry if this is a redundant question.  I really hope im being overly cautious and that nothing is wrong with this guy I already feel attached.

I cant see much from the pic, but if it is the same type of spot that is on his side its just part of the pattern. Spots can also be different colors so if its just pigment you are fine.

The spot near his vent is triangular with the long edge against the vent.  the pinkness seems to have subsided as well.  Also I took him to my friends shop and the owner thinks it looks like maybe he got scratched on the silk plants, and that it is most likely nothing more than some irritation.  Hopefully when he sheds it will go away then.  Since this guy is cbb i think parasites probably arent a factor, but Ill keep monitoring him in the mean time.

It seems that I may have been worried for no reason, my cresty had a shed today and the problem area looks good as new now, however I will continue to monitor.
