battery back-up power for incubator

can anyone suggest a battery back-up for an incubator. i looked at a few but i would like to hear from someone with experience with this particular application. I believe some one suggested it in a christmas gift list post.

you can get a 12 volt(car or marine) and wire it to a transformer,,, then you can plug sockets into it... you can probably get the converter at most sporting good stores..... you might have to do some wiring... but it's doable... then you can always recharge the battery with a tickler

I use an APC battery back up, XS Series, model 1300va. It will run my incubator for up to twelve hours, it will make keep your incubator running during a brown out, and it is portable/stand alone so you can use it to transport your incubator to another location while maintaining temps.
