just curious as to how often a biak will change colors, what some of your experiences have been with this.

About the first 10 years of it's life....an maybe then a few years longer!!  :0)

Biaks are known to take longer to complete their color change than other locales.  Some suggest waiting more than 5 years before considering it complete.  Not sure if that is what you are trying to ask.  Your question almost suggests that biaks go back and forth with their color change, which I do not believe occurs.  My personal experience - it took about 4 years for my biak to complete its change.  Hope that helps.

Typically once. Its just a protruded process with them, moreso than any locales.

Yeah what they all said, I just read that part about Biaks in The More Complete Chondro actually. General concensus seems to be 4-5 years and sometimes even longer. I can't wait till I can get into chondro's :D

i agre with the above comments. i have seen them change till they are up to about 5 yrs old.  that being said, i think their shades f adult colors tend to change as they get much older as well.
